Ford Transit 250 Medium Roof

story:

Sheneka has just moved from sunny Panama City Beach, FL to Alexandria, VA and wanted a camper van to escape from her daily work as an engineer. Sheneka brought us ‘Untethered”, her Ford Transit Medium Roof, which she planned to both use as her respite, while flat towing her Jeep for extra adventures.

With Untethered, it’s all about POWER. Being an engineer, Sheneka wanted to upgrade her battery bank to Battleborn Lithium Ion and Victron Electrical components. Her setup provides maximum off-grid capabilities and has an additional shore power hookup when necessary

A custom-build, Sheneka wanted her van to have “class” so we went with a white wash ceiling, matte black curtains, and upholstery fabric you’d find in a penthouse suite. Combined with stained red cedar, her van feels more like a high-end mountain resort studio than a camper van.

Additional components include a built-in two burner stove, a stainless steel Dometic fridge, a pullout pantry and extra butcher block countertops. A removable Lagun swivel table makes dining or working a breeze sitting on her double seat sofa.

Working with Sheneka was a dream, and we are confident it will provide her the catalyst to live hers out.
