RAM Promaster 2500 High Roof 159”

story:

Karen and Baris approached Boho looking for a camper van to travel the country with their dog. They reside outside of Chicago, IL and wanted a comfortable, beautiful and safe ride for their adventures. After a few conversations, the concept for Pitter Patter was born!

Pitter Patter is built on a RAM Promaster High Roof. Because of Baris’ height, we installed Flarespace wall panels to extend the bed to a full queen size (60”w x 80”L). We finished the inside of the flares with custom black upholstery and matched the exterior to the Granite Crystal paint.

The van is unique in that we painted the red cedar paneling white, aside from the countertops and ceiling. Pitter Patter’s vibe exhibits a clean, modern feel with pops of color and natural wood finishes.

Because of their “Windy City” home base, we installed an Espar Heater to heat the van off grid, which draws little power and uses the van’s gasoline tank to heat the cabin.

Other upgrades included an electric hot water heater, custom upholstered cushions which converts into a 2nd sleep surface, Lithium Batteries, and an extra roof fan to keep the van cool on those hot/humid Chicago nights.

Custom flush mounted tie-downs were installed in two areas to ensure Karen and Baris’ dog crate will be secure as they “Pitter Patter” on down the road.

Karen and Baris picked up Pitter Patter from Phoenix, AZ and plan to start their road trip on their way back to Chicago. We are excited to see where life takes them. But for now… “Pitter-patter, let’s get at ‘er.”
