story:

Geni & Peter are avid cyclists and they’ve been riding together for over 30 years. They first met on a cycling tour in Minnesota, where sparks flew, but after a few days of riding the group split and that was that. Or was it?! Peter was able to get Geni’s address and began writing her letters - which Geni happily returned. They ended up riding again in New York later that year, and have been inseparable ever since.

Cycling has taken them across the country, and throughout Europe and other parts of the world. They continue to ride together to this day.

The last few years they’ve been traveling in a Promaster City built by Peter, but they realized it was time to move into something larger. That’s when they came to Boho.

Hart’s Desire was built to accommodate bicycles underneath the bed, as we raised the bed 2” to ensure there’s enough space.

The layout is similar to past Boho builds, and it works perfect for Peter and Geni. Plenty of storage, a large living/sofa area with slide out table, and a spot for every component including their 75L fridge, 7 gallon grey water tank, portable 2-burner stove, 5 gallon dometic toilet, and more.

The finishes were chosen by Geni and Peter, including Peacock upholstery, a Boho bedspread, Asheville pine vinyl floors and teal curtains.

Extra windows were installed on the slider door and on both sides of the bed for a great cross breeze over the bed. Beneath the bed a hot water tank powers an outdoor shower fed from a 25 gallon fresh water tank.

The electrical system includes 400W of solar on the roof and Victron components including a 2000W Multiplus Inverter, a SmartSolar controller and an Orion DC-DC isolator.

Peter and Geni picked up their van in Phoenix, and after a final walkthrough, we could sense a lot of love - for each other, for their “Desire”, and for the adventures that await.
