Chuck and Donna first saw a Boho Van in the parking lot of a hot springs in Colorado last summer. The owners were happy to give them a tour! As soon as they got back to Sedona, they made an appointment with us to get started on Sierra.

Sedona, AZ is their base for travel, adventure and family. They retired three years ago, and decided they were tired of dealing with tent issues, below freezing temperatures, wind, ran, BEARS! A Boho Van was their solution to exposure of the elements, and a ticket to explore the western US (and beyond).

Sierra was built with comfort in mind. It’s off-grid power system will give Chuck & Donna the beautiful, “tent camping experience”, with an added 300ah of battery bank to power their amenities. These include an Espar cabin heater, hot water system (outdoor showers anyone!?), 75L of fridge/freezer space, a12’ roof awning, and cabinet space for all their storage.

Their interior finishes radiate “Red Rock” roots with a red upholstered sofa area (that converts into a 2nd sleeper), and bedding was chosen carefully to match. Red cedar lines the walls, with a “natural finish” coating to keep the originally look and feel of the beautiful wood.

Chuck and Donna plan to hit the Sierra Nevada’s next month, with plans to mountain bike, backpack, and kayak (they’re adding a bike/kayak rack - not pictured). By early August 2021 they’ll head up to the Northern Rockies and work their way down from Sun Valley to see Montana, Wyoming before dropping down the San Juans on their way to northern New Mexico.
