story:

Randy grew up in Michigan and spent several years custom painting van conversions across the border in Elkhart, IN - the RV capital of the world. After graduating college, he left the cold behind and moved to Arizona to enter career in criminal justice. It was very challenging work, as he balanced protecting the community with helping individuals avoid mistakes, make better choices and to pursue positive progress in their lives. A rewarding, and difficult career, Randy was also able to raise two children in the meantime - a large foundation in his life. But it was time for Randy to escape.

Just as he fled the snow of Michigan, Randy is fleeing the blistering heat of Phoenix in his Boho van “Escape”.

Escape was built for Randy on a RAM Promaster 159” High Roof, and it’s a true off-grid escape plan. It holds 25 gallons of freshwater, has 300ah of aux power bank, includes a dual zone electrical fridge, multiple light zones, as well as 400W of solar panels to keep it all running smooth.

His finishes were inspired by a variety of van builds we’ve built, as Randy started following Boho’s builds since our first year of business. Oasis Blast tile, Montage grey flooring, a bohemian style duvet, and ocean color upholstery vibe well off the stained red cedar paneling throughout his van.

Randy told us he wanted to escape, and he has - Boho just built the vessel. He plans on spending Fall in Michigan, Winter in Arizona, and the rest is up in the air - just as Randy wants it.
