RAM Promaster 2500 High Roof 159”

story:

Jennifer and Kevin reached out to Boho looking for a vehicle to help them more easily hit the outdoors. They’re avid rock climbers and also enjoy fishing and diving. Bristol would be their van to “call home” on the road, while easily storing their gear for both month-long and weekend adventures.

Bristol was set up with three ways to charge her 315 ah house battery bank: 340 watts of solar, a shore power hookup and a dc-to-dc isolator to juice up from the car engine. The electrical is sufficient to power her 75L Dometic fridge, pressurize 25 gallons of fresh water to her sink and shower (with hot water when needed), run a 12v roof fan and power her various gadgets via three 110 outlets.

The exterior of the van was customized with four windows for breathability and visibility. A 12’ Fiamma awning was affixed to the roof to provide extra usable space outside the van.

The interior was finished with stained red cedar and custom glass tile, flooring and upholstery was chosen to give Bristol her own unique feel.

Dual dimmer switches were installed to provide ambient LED lighting throughout the van and dome lights over the kitchenette.

Jennifer and Kevin picked up their van in Tempe, AZ and hit both their new and favorite climbing spots on the way back to Denver. They even spent Thanksgiving on the road cooking a turkey dinner on their portable stove overlooking the Rocky Mountains.
