Ford Transit 250 Low Roof Extended
story:
Leah & Don came to Boho looking for a simple way to get into nature. Their camping experience in the past was more rugged, and usually involved other hands to help set up camp. Leah, in particular, wanted a way to be able to hit the road solo with a manageable set up.
Boho built Leah & Don’s van “Louise” on their Ford Transit extended van. It includes everything a solo camper would need to easily pound pavement including 200 watts of solar energy, 210 ah of battery bank, 25 gallons of water feeding a butcher block kitchenette, a rear slide out cook station and more.
Red cedar adorns the walls, keeping the the van cozy, and ambient LED lighting sets the scene for whatever occasion. Cabinetry and under bed storage provide ample stowing. An outdoor shower off the back of the van provides additional water access.
Leah first plans to take her “Louise” from Phoenix to Joshua Tree before heading up through the Sierra Nevada’s on her way back to Seattle - that is if she doesn’t decide to keep on driving :)
