If you're renting a van via Boho's Owners' Fleet - your pickup address will be provided during booking.

What are your pick up/drop off times for camper van rentals?

What happens if I drop off the vehicle later than 11AM?

Vehicles that come back late (after 11 AM) will be charged a fee of $250. We are strict on our drop-off times to ensure we can get the rental ready for the next trip. Please plan ahead and account for traffic and unforeseen events to ensure there are no additional fees.

Do you charge by the day or by the night?

We charge by the night!

How far in advance should I book my rental?

All trips must be booked at least 2-days before the trip begins. Because of our busy schedule, we suggest booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance of your trip.

How much does it cost to rent?

This varies by time of year, length, and destination. You can get an instant quote by picking your vehicle and plugging in your dates. It’s that easy!

Can I do one-way trip?

We don’t offer one-way trips at this time.

Can I park my personal vehicle at your lot during my trip?

Yes, for rental trips from Tempe, AZ we have plenty of space outside our facility for you to park your personal vehicle. It’s important to note the lot is shared with other businesses, and therefore we are not liable for your vehicle while it’s parked at our facility.

No parking is allowed onsite for Boho Owner's Fleet rental trips.

Do you have a minimum nights requirement?

Due to the popularity of our vehicles - we require a 3-night minimum most of the year.

Do I need a drivers license to rent a vehicle?

How many days can I rent a vehicle for?

You can rent a vehicle for as many nights as you wish!

YES! These discounts start at 10% off when you book for 7+ nights and 25% off for 30 nights. Contact us to discuss discounts for trips longer than 30 nights, or if you don't see them already applied during checkout.

Should I book campsites in advance?

The short answer is yes. Though it depends on what type of traveler you are! Many of our renters don’t have anything booked in advance and do just fine.

If you prefer to have a campsite with facilities (bathrooms/showers) we suggest planning a head and booking a campsite in advance. We also suggest booking in advance for holiday weekends or popular destinations like the Grand Canyon.

Yes! Our insurance policy allows for driving in Canada.

Do the vehicles allow me to play music from my phone?

All our vehicles have bluetooth stereos and a system for pairing to your phone!

Can I sleep anywhere? Or do I need to stay in a campground?

Anywhere is a very broad term but our vehicles are discrete enough to park most anywhere, so long as you’re respectful of your surroundings. Always check for signs that say “No Overnight Parking” or “No Camping” if you’re planning on boondocking. We recommend camping at either designated campgrounds or dispersed camping on federally designated land.

Will we be warm enough in the winter?

Our camper vans are well insulated and have kept renters comfortable in cold conditions. Our jeep tents aren't as warm as our camper vans as they're similar to tent camping. We recommend bringing warm clothes to sleep in (just in case) and to review the average temperatures of the destination ahead, so you’re best prepared.

Many of our newer rental vehicles do have off-grid heat/air conditioning systems as well.

Will I be cool enough in the summer?

Yes! All our camper vans have dashboard AC and include roof fans installed over the bed. Our jeeps have dashboard AC only. We don't recommend camping in greater Phoenix in the middle of July but summers are a great time to get out of the desert and explore northern Arizona, Utah, and California instead.

Many of our newer rental vehicles do have off-grid heat/air conditioning systems as well.

Here are some tips on How to Stay Cool Camping in the Summer.
