RAM Promaster 2500 High Roof 159”

story:

An epic name for an epic van! Lost Hotel was built for clients from Louisiana who spend a lot of time traveling out west and down south visiting family, friends and beautiful places.

Lost Hotel was built on a RAM Promaster 2500 High Roof 159” and sports a unique Granite Crystal color. Because of the hot humidity levels down south, we installed a roof mounted AC unit that blows both cold and hot air when needed. A lithium ion battery bank allows for short bursts of off grid AC use, and unlimited use when connected to shore power via their 3000 watt Victron inverter.

James and his family have learned all too well what the power of nature can do near the ocean, so they added Toyo AT 3 tires for better traction to battle the elements.

The van was finished with red cedar paneling, subway tile over the kitchenette, and custom upholstery in the sofa area. Butcher block countertops were used in both the kitchen and a stowaway workstation/prep table.

25 gallons of water allow for running water for cooking and outdoor showering, and a hot water heater was installed to ensure there are no cold showers on the road.

Custom windows were installed, and coupled with a 12v roof fan, ensure there’s plenty of air flow when the AC unit isn’t needed.

James picked up the van from Tempe, AZ with his son Alec and their 5 month golden retriever named Petunia. The plan was to head to Colorado first for some outdoor adventures before heading back to Louisiana.
