RAM Promaster 2500 High Roof 159”

story:

Just under a year ago, Stephanie was looking at photos and reading other stories of clients on Boho’s website. She stumbled upon a van in our gallery named “Four Winds” which was built for a client also named Stephanie and her husband Dave. Her heart fluttered and she immediately knew she was ready to take the leap.

Stephanie had recently lost her husband Dave, and when she saw the name connection, she realized how much her Dave would want her to hit the road.

It was always Stephanie’s dream to explore the U.S., Canada and even Mexico - and as a solo female, a camper van just made sense.

“Murdock” is the name Dave chose for their family’s golden lab and it’s now the name of Stephanie’s van. Stephanie and Dave had a deal that she’d name the kids and he’d name the dogs (she’s glad they didn’t have a son named Murdock or a daughter named “Trixie” - haha).

Built on a RAM Promaster, Murdock pops with bright colors and textures including eggplant upholstery, sea glass tile, and a duvet cover that ties it all together.

Her van has screened windows bookending the bed, creating a cross breeze with her roof mounted 12 speed fan (with auto rain sensor!). A full pane slider door window was installed as well - splashing her small travel home with plenty of natural light.

Other upgrades included a hot water heater feeding her outdoor shower and custom copper sink, a 12’ Fiamma roof awning and an exterior sandstone factory paint job.

Stephanie showed up to Tempe to pickup Murdock with a group of friends she met in Arizona and hadn’t seen in over 25 years. After a bunch of laughs (and plenty of happy tears), we gave her a tour of her van and she hit the road for her first trip.
