RAM Promaster 2500 High Roof 159”

story:

Barbara & John had first approached Boho looking to rent a van for a 4-week trip across the USA. After COVID hit, they decided it made more sense to purchase a Boho Van so they’d have the luxury of never having to return it!

Perla was built with the intention of feeling bright, airy, and full of light. Therefore, we installed six windows around the van - all with the ability to open with screens. The red cedar was kept natural and unstained, giving the space a more natural look. Light curtains, upholstery, and bedding were also chosen to give it the “Virginia Beach Summer Home” vibe.

Victron components were used to power the features three different ways: through 340 watts of solar, a dc-to-dc isolator and a shore power hookup when needed.

A large Dometic 75L fridge is stored under the driver side sofa, and a portable Dometic toilet is stowed under the passenger side. A stainless steel sink draws from 25 gallons of fresh water under the bed, and a finished butcher block countertop pulls out between the sofa seats for dining, games and extra kitchen prep space.

Once complete, Barbara & John picked up their beloved Perla from Tempe, AZ and started their 4-week trip back to Virginia with the freedom to never return (though we hope you do)!
