visit buddha beach

Tucked within the Crescent Moon Ranch Day Park is one of the most photographed locations in the southwest. With towering Cathedral Rock in the background, choose to relax in the grassy fields, picnic along the river, or wade in crystal blue waters. Can you find buddha beach? It's easy. Walk along the river to see the largest display of rock cairns we've ever witnessed. A perfect place to relax, eat, and witness the views.

hike cathedral rock

A few minutes off Highway 89A off Back O' Beyond Road lies Cathedral Rock Trailhead. An intermediate 1-mile hike takes you up to the saddle, where you overlook the Cathedral Rock/Red Rock Crossing Vortex. Take a picture on the ledge to the north before heading south around the backside to view the Cathedral Rock spires. This is a must-do Sedona experience.

experience the flow of oak creek

There are many places in Sedona to swim. For natural red rock water slides stop by Slide Rock State Park, a short 5-min walk from the park entrance. For the more adventurous, choose to hike West Fork Trail (good for all skill levels), where canyon walls close in on you as you traverse between shaded trees. West Fork includes 13 river crossing and stunning canyon views.
